Quince cheese is an ancient sweet, made only with quince fruits and sugar. The quince tree is one of the oldest fruit trees, known already in the time of the Babylonians. Then, with the passing of the centuries, it has met an unfortunate fate, so much so that the quince is now considered a forgotten fruit.

But the farm Pian di Reggi has a real craze for the old cultivars, maybe less productive in terms of yield, but unique in terms of history, taste and nutritional values. That’s why during the winter they transform the quince fruits harvested in autumn into quince cheese, a sweet treat with all the flavor of the fruit. Its unique texture makes it more similar to a candy than a jam, so you can even eat it like titbits.

The farm Pian di Reggi cultivates and works fruits and vegetables in the utmost respect of the territory. The quality of these products is really exceptional: the harvest takes place at the exact moment of ripeness and for the processing of the products dyes, preservatives, thickening agents or chemical additives are off limits. Even a bite is enough to fall in love with these products, which hold all the taste of nature.
