Do I have to pay a monthly fee or a registration fee to purchase on Italy Bite?
Absolutely not! Italy Bite is a fully-fledged digital shop: you can choose any product you like, whenever you want without any constraints. You need only create a personal account by registering to the site - this will help you keep track of all your orders and check their status.
What payment methods do you accept?
On Italy Bite, you can pay with credit cards and prepaid cards (we accept Visa, Mastercard, Postepay, PayPal card), with a PayPal account or via bank transfer (BIC: BCITITMM - Iban: IT73 J030 6971 3331 0000 0002 096 ).
Do the prices shown include VAT?
Yes, all of our prices always include VAT.
Can I receive an invoice for my order?
During the purchase process you will be able to choose whether you wish to receive a receipt or an invoice, though in the latter case you will need to enter your company name and VAT number. You will receive the document by email after payment. If for any reason you do not receive it, you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and request a copy. In order to receive an electronic invoice, you will need to insert, besides your company information, your unique code (according to the Italian SDI system) or your certified electronic PEC-mail.
Once I have completed my purchase, how will I know if the transaction has been successful?
Once your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email showing that your order has been successful.
How are fresh and perishable products stored during delivery?
To always guarantee freshness, we pack our products in isothermal containers and use synthetic ice. For full details regarding delivery, please consult our page on ‘Delivery times and methods’.
Can I request for my package to be delivered to my workplace?
Yes, it is possible to indicate a delivery address different from the billing/invoice address selected during payment.
How much does shipping cost?
At Italy Bite, shipping costs are calculated according to the type of purchased product (fresh, perishable or non-perishable) and to the destination country. During checkout, shipping costs will be automatically calculated and you will be able to see the detailed breakdown before proceeding to payment.
Can I check the status of my delivery?
Yes, you can track your order from the moment the package is handed over to the courier. Simply click on the link that we will send you by email, once your package has been shipped.
I forgot my password, what can I do?
To retrieve your password, simply click on “Login” (top right-hand corner of the screen) and select ‘If you can’t remember your password, click here to reset it’. Once you have entered your email address and clicked on ‘Submit’, you will receive an email with your new login credentials.
I placed an order, but the delivery address that I have entered is wrong. What can I do?
You can email us at email@example.com with your order number and the correct address. If your order has not yet been shipped, you can request to change or cancel it.
Can I cancel an order that has already been placed?
Yes, you can request to cancel your order if it has not yet been dispatched: just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you cancel, we will refund you the full amount of the order.
What should I do if the product I have purchased doesn’t arrive?
You can check the status of your order using the tracking link that you will receive by email as soon as your package is handed over to the courier. Should you need assistance, please contact us directly by email at email@example.com.
I received a damaged product, how can I return it and receive a refund?
If you receive one or more damaged items, please contact us promptly at firstname.lastname@example.org. In order to properly verify the problem and act accordingly, we may ask you to send the product back to us and, in the meantime, email us a photo with a description of the damage.
