A wonderful workshop was founded by Enrica Orsini around twenty years ago, with the purpose of reinventing the real handmade Mostarda from Cremona.
As a matter of fact, tradition dictates that fruit Mostarda should be made very slowly, in order to preserve the properties of fruits. The company Leccornie Doc focuses on fruit selection and creates original and modern recipes which will intrigue your taste buds.
All raw materials are processed by hand. Fruit mostarda is not easy to make: fresh fruit is candied by hand, which makes this preserve sweet; this sweetness is then perfectly balanced out by the spiciness of the mustard essential oil.
The mostarda from Cremona by Leccornie Doc is a true delicacy and can be served with boiled meats and cheeses. Leccornie Doc and its new recipes brought a breath of fresh air to this great Lombardy specialty.
