High-quality chestnut honey is very rare. It has a very particular flavour. It obviously isn’t as popular as acacia or wildflower honey, but if you’re looking for an unusual and absolutely unique honey, chestnut honey is the right one for you!
The best flavour combination is chestnut honey with cheese. Careful, though; since it has a very intense flavour, it could overpower fresh and delicate cheeses. It pairs exceptionally well with aged goat cheese or Puzzone di Moena cheese.
Apicoltura Cazzola beekeeping only makes whole virgin raw honey that does not undergo any thermal treatment and keeps all natural properties and benefits unaltered. It is extracted by centrifugal force and then left to decant in honey ripeners and poured in jars. Nature at its most pristine.
