Among all traditional Calabria products, the ‘Nduja surely stands out: it is a world-renowned soft and spicy cold cut. The company ‘L’Artigiano della ‘Nduja’ makes ‘Nduja from excellent raw materials, including refined cuts of Italian pork and the incredible red hot chilli pepper from Poro mount.
As a matter of fact, the majority of the most typical Calabria dishes have one thing in common: they are all spicy. Red hot chilli pepper is part of the identity of Calabrian cuisine, as long as it is prime-quality chilli pepper with a spicy but also aromatic taste. It would however be an understatement to say that all Calabrian products are made with red hot chilli pepper; there are many other culinary delights that are just waiting to be discovered.
