This sweet spread made with PDO pistachios enhances the freshness of the green pistachios from Bronte, which the company Don Tanu skilfully handles. This spread combines an enveloping texture with the natural sweet flavour of pistachios.

The pistachios used in this spread, which are cultivated on the western slopes of the Etna  and left in their natural state, are slightly roasted and packed in the spread, which contains as much as 40% of pistachios. This spread can be eaten by itself - so delicious it’s almost dangerous - or can be spread on sweet pancakes and baked goods, to start the day on the right foot.

How to use it: we recommend not heating the spread up, because it could lose some of its fragrance. Spread it on already cooked shortcrust pastries, sponge cakes or beignets. Or use it to sweeten up your coffee, instead of sugar!
