This is the classic version, the original Torta Pistocchi cake, the first recipe ever created in their workshop in Florence. A mix of five different types of dark chocolate, bitter cocoa powder and a drop of milk cream: those are the only ingredients. no eggs, no butter, no flour.
Soft, creamy, with an enveloping and intense flavour, this cake should be kept in the fridge and eaten at room temperature to be able to fully enjoy its great flavour in all its nuances.
This cake - which is incredibly simple given its ingredients, but sophisticated at the same time, has won several national and international awards. It is a perfect representation of the passion and commitment that siblings Claudio and Claudia Pistocchi put into their work.
