Its idea was to mix some of these incredible products with salt, implementing an innovative freeze-drying process. That’s why this salt really smells and tastes like pesto!
Pesto is wholly dehydrated at a very low temperature, in order to preserve its sensory features and nutrients.
Salt with pesto does not contain any synthetic or natural aromas; its flavour is the result of perfectly combined ingredients. Dehydrated pesto makes up 10% of the sauce, but this percentage would actually reach 30%, if pesto were used fresh and not freeze-dried! The pesto is then mixed with sea salt from Trapani.
