Greater amberjack fillets by Campisi are processed completely by hand and are obtained from greater amberjacks caught by angling in the Mediterranean Sea and Southern Ionian Sea. Greater amberjacks have a signature delicate flavour, perfectly enhanced by the Sicilian olive oil which Campisi uses for its fish preserves.
Greater amberjacks are precious fishes which should be handled carefully. Campisi knows how to properly pack all their deliciousness into a jar. Fishes are filleted by hand and steamed to be cooked in the most delicate way.
The company Campisi is located in Marzamemi. Marzamemi is a village home to many historical tuna fish factories, whose livelihood is thus intertwined with the preservation of seafood products. Greater amberjacks are processed here very carefully, to obtain compact, firm and soft fillets. This selected culinary delight is exceptional on its own or to prepare delicious pasta dishes.
