The spread of PGI Radicchio Rosso di Treviso by Nonno Andrea is ideal as a quick, prime-quality sauce for pasta and gnocchi. We also love to add it to delicious vegetarian sandwiches, together with cheese such as Fontina, or use it as sauce for gourmet hamburgers. Why not pairing this spread with succulent finger food?
It is the main ingredient that makes this spread so mouth watering. Nonno Andrea cultivates Radicchio di Treviso on its farm fields located in Villorba, in the province of Treviso, fully respecting nature and its pace. The cultivation of this vegetable, which is now world renowned, dates back to the 16th century, when Radicchio was actually considered a low-quality, peasant food in the region Veneto.
We like to eat it with:
• PDO Fontina cheese
• Gnocchi
